It’s here! Swiftpage is pleased to announce the release of Swiftpage Social Sharing. The video below shows what you can do to spread your reach across your social networks using our new features.
As you saw in the video, Swiftpage Social Sharing allows you to interact with your recipients on a whole new level. Your recipients can share your email directly with their social networks via Footer Sharing. With a click of a button in the Swiftpage footer, your email is exposed to your recipient’s entire social community. Can anyone say, free advertising?
Swiftpage Social Sharing also gives you the flexibility to share your email with your social networks as soon as you send it, posting your email to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Share at Send takes the legwork out of posting the same information over and over again on each of your social networks. Just a click and you are done.

Is there an upgrade required to get the Swiftpage Sharing? The Social Sharing button is not on my home page.

Right now Social Sharing is only available for Swiftpage Connect customers. We are in the process of developing Social Sharing for our integrations. Releases on the integrations take more time as we have to receive approval from Sage and work with their engineers as well. Please know that our engineers are hard at work on this and we will keep you updated when a release date is available.
Thanks, we should be upgrading ACT! soon and then will have Swiftpage Connect (I believe.)
Swiftpage Connect is a separate product that is used by customers who do not use a Sage product as their CRM. Sage E-Marketing is powered by Swiftpage and is Sage’s integrated e-marketing platform. This platform is the one we are currently working on adding Social Sharing to. It takes a bit more time since we have to work within Sage products to ensure that it works properly within the product. It will be coming very soon… hopefully by the time you are ready to upgrade ACT!.

Mike – There were a few more details that needed to be worked out between the engineers at Sage and Swiftpage. We expect Social Sharing for Sage E-Marketing to be available sometime this spring. Thanks!
I just added the social sharing buttons to my email footer (and I use Sage Act, btw). How do I get the buttons to show up where people can simply “like” us on Facebook or follow us on twitter, rather than sharing the email?
Dave – Social Sharing buttons are just for the sharing process. If you’d like to add traditional social media buttons, you simply add an image to your template of the social media icon and link the image to your site. Hope that helps!
